Nkuna Lungi

As a teacher, I like to work with with visual aids, followed by practical examples and exercises whereby students can demonstrate what they have learnt and also have the opportunity to ask questions and role-play.

My teaching methods are student centred, encouraging exploration, questioning ,experiments and all learning through collaborative discussions.

After lessons, my suggestions are to support students in reviewing the materials of what was learnt in class and review the learnt concepts during their free time, formulate questions that will assist in better understanding the lesson we covered.

I believe this role will be in tune with my career prospects and professional development as I am passionate about teaching, skills exchange and I have worked with students and young scholars throughout my career.

I am an avid sport fanatic who has participated in Berlin Marathon half marathon and took part in the Cape Town Cycle tour thrice(106 kilometres) as well as several other long distance bike and running races. I enjoy the outdoors, I love hiking, I am a creative who is always seeking new ways of completing tasks and making it exciting for young students.

I am an excellent communicator, I love networking, travelling and discovering new cultures and customs.
