Nicholas Peavy

About me: Professional urban planner from the USA with 10 years of experience. I myself am a student learning German and, through that process, found that I enjoy learning about languages - including my own! With that said, you will need a solid foundation of English because my German is in its early phase. However, I'm experiencing that total immersion is a great learning method!

My speciality is business English and US business culture. If your job requires you to interact with government entities in English, I am the perfect partner for your learning needs. I am also happy to work with you on something more casual.

Lessons: I think that language is best learned in context. First, we will discuss your goals and need for English. Perhaps you have a big presentation in English and you want to practice and refine the delivery. Perhaps you are going to be hosting an international delegation of business partners and you need to prepare for some unusual 2nd-language-to-2nd-language interactions. Maybe you just want to game with your international friends and want to learn how to talk trash haha! Whatever you need we can do it!

Some contexts that I have special knowledge of that we can work on: music and arts, musical performance, general business, regulatory and legal English, boardgames, video games, outdoor activities, exercising and fitness.

I am based out of Wiesbaden and am happy to meet in person for lessons locally. Otherwise, the lessons will take place online. I look forward to getting to know you and hope to meet with you soon.
