Marie Keating

I am Marie, 32 years old and originally from Canada. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Political Science as well as a Master’s degree in Cultural and Political Studies. Through my academic path and professional experiences, I have developed a strong foundation in critical thinking, creative reading, and writing. These skills form the basis of how I guide my students in learning English.

My teaching style is conversational and student-centered. I believe that language is best learned when it connects directly to your life and interests. That is why I design lessons around topics that matter to you, whether it is culture, travel, hobbies, or professional communication. Instead of memorizing endless vocabulary lists, you will learn new words and phrases in a natural context, which makes it easier to remember and apply them in real conversations.

I also focus on building confidence. Many learners understand grammar but hesitate to speak. In my lessons, mistakes are not something to fear, they are stepping stones to improvement. We will practice speaking in a relaxed and supportive environment, so that you become more fluent and comfortable over time.
