My teaching methods are based off the Writing Center Pedagogy, where I was certified after taking a class in University. The Writing Center Pedagogy's core principles are:
- the process: How you are able to get to your end result, rather than you simple end result
- Dialogue: The tutor does not solve all the problems for the student, but guides them to getting there
- Equal hierarchies: There is no hierarchy, its a peer-to-peer conversation, no power play
-Higher Order of Concerns: Where together we talk about what our priorities should be within the task

This Pedagogy is important because it wants to boost the confidence of the student so that they learn how to make their writing better rather than pay someone to fix their mistakes. By teaching the skills you are able to achieve that.

I also have personal and professional experience with tutoring IB studnets, getting them prepared for their oral examinations, Internal Assessments and essays. I was an IB student and over the summer I was tutoring IB students. What is important about the writing center pedagogy is that it is not subject based, rather writing based. So I am able to tutor writing problems from all subjects including personal projects too. For example letter of motivations for applications, emails, proposals and others.
