During my undergraduate (Bachelor) studies in the States, I did a minor in Linguistics with a focus on multilingualism and language acquisition in general, which helped strengthen my understanding of language learning. I was also a part time teacher's assistant and substitute teacher at the German School Connecticut, a weekend-only school mainly established for heritage speakers of German (children) as well as adults who were interested in learning the language. Obtaining my M.A. in Journalism in 2024 in Berlin strengthened my writing and text skills and enhanced my command of the English language. I have personally always loved being at the receiving or giving end of the language learning process and find it to be extremely rewarding. I believe that teaching comes quite naturally to me and I'm always happy to help students build their confidence in the language they use, because ultimately that reassures them in everything that they use that language for, whether it's to communicate with acquaintances or loved ones, obtain a degree, or provide better opportunities in work and daily life alike.
