What My Teaching Looks Like

My lessons are structured… but they don’t feel structured.

I like my students to feel relaxed first — because no one learns well when they’re stressed or scared to make mistakes. So we create a space where it’s okay to be wrong. Actually, being wrong is part of the plan. That’s how progress happens.

I mix real conversation with practical grammar. Not the “open the book and suffer” kind — but grammar that actually helps you say what you want to say. If you can’t use it in real life, we don’t waste time on it.

I use a lot of:

Real-life situations (ordering coffee, job interviews, travel drama ??)

Active speaking (you talk more than me — always)

Repetition without it feeling like repetition

Small wins every lesson (because motivation grows when you see progress)

Psychologically, confidence comes before fluency. So we build confidence first. Once your brain feels safe, it learns faster — and that’s when the magic happens.

My teaching dynamic is simple:
You try.
You make mistakes.
We fix them.
You improve.
You surprise yourself.

I’ve worked with different levels and personalities, and one thing I’ve learned is this: everyone can learn English — the method just needs to match the person.

No pressure. No ego. Just progress.

And maybe a few laughs along the way. ??
