Lola Martin

As a TEFL-certified English teacher with a background in youth work and international education, I specialise in supporting beginner learners of all ages to build confidence and real-world communication skills. My teaching journey spans both in-person and online settings, including roles in the UK, the U.S., and Germany. I've led English sessions for children and young people aged 5–18, and recently accepted positions with Sprachcentre Mouroum and Oscar Lenart Summer Camps to deliver engaging English lessons to international students.

My teaching approach is student-centred, inclusive, and practical. I believe that learning a language should feel both empowering and enjoyable. I create a supportive space where mistakes are part of the process and curiosity is encouraged. I focus on clear, structured lessons that prioritise speaking and listening, alongside building a solid foundation in vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. Whether we’re practicing simple conversations or exploring cultural topics, each lesson is tailored to the learner’s pace, goals, and interests.

I draw on my experience in youth mentoring, community organising, and enrichment coordination to bring energy, creativity, and structure to each session. I also have extensive experience teaching online, using tools like Zoom, Teams, and Canva to deliver engaging, interactive content remotely.
