I have volunteered at multiple schools, as well as been an English tutor both during high school and university. I spent a year abroad in Japan and was able to gain knowledge about teaching English as a second language, so I have a solid set of tools to help whoever. With my lessons, I will aim to focus on what the student wants to work on most, helping add creativity and fun to their homework and classwork in order to help the student enjoy reading and writing and speaking English, all while improving literacy and understanding of the language itself. English is my native language, so I am fluent in English. Since I am fluent, I will also aim to improve the student's casual use of English, and help them become more comfortable with speaking and listening.
