I have been teaching English at a university (also for ESP, Business, Academic) for 20 years now. The course targets Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening aspects of the language equally. However, we can prioritise one or the other depending on the learner’s wish and needs. The courses are built on diverse materials ( British course books, tailored audio/video materials, in class discussions, case studies, writing tasks, tests and quizzes using AI tools, such as Kahoot, Padlet and Quizziz). Communicative method lies at the heart of my classes, but the choice of the methods usually depends on the needs and skills of the learner/-s. The course also boosts analytical and critical thinking through topic related reading tasks and discussions.
The average length of each lesson is 2 hours. Frequency of the classes is up to the learner (2/3/4 times in a week).
Making the learning process pleasant, fun and productive is a top priority for me.
