I have taught four Grade 7 classes and three Grade 8 classes, each with 35 students, using differentiated instruction and cooperative learning to address diverse ability levels. My teaching methods include explicit modeling, think-pair-share, jigsaw activities, and inquiry-based discussions, while content focuses on foundational grammar, sentence and paragraph construction, reading comprehension, and basic persuasive writing. Lesson dynamics follow a consistent rhythm: a brief warm-up, direct instruction with examples, structured small-group work where I circulate to support learners, and a quick formative assessment like an exit ticket. I use more scaffolding and repetition, whereas involves student-driven discussions and peer teaching. With seven classes, I have learned to establish clear routines, rotate group roles, and adapt on the fly—using nonverbal signals for large classes and adjusting pacing based on daily energy and performance. My experience has taught me that a predictable yet interactive classroom environment keeps 35 students engaged without sacrificing depth.
