I’m Leo, an online English tutor from Australia.

I completed all of my schooling in Australia and have grown up speaking English every day, so I’m confident helping students with all areas of English, including speaking, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and general confidence.

I’m especially good with children and younger students. I have experience through coaching, helping my younger siblings with schoolwork, and volunteering in childcare settings, so I understand how important patience, encouragement, and clear communication are when working with kids. I always try to create a calm and comfortable environment where students feel relaxed and not afraid to make mistakes.

My lessons are personalised depending on the student’s level and what they need help with. Some students want support with schoolwork or homework, while others want to improve their speaking, grammar, or overall confidence in English. I try to keep lessons clear, supportive, and engaging so students can improve without feeling overwhelmed.

I like to keep my lessons simple, supportive, and suited to each student.

First, I usually start with a quick warm-up or short conversation to help the student feel comfortable. After that, we go over anything from the previous lesson if needed, then move into the main focus for the day.

Depending on the student, this could be:

- speaking and conversation practice

- grammar

- reading and comprehension

- writing

- vocabulary

- homework or school support

During the lesson, I explain things clearly, work through examples together, and give feedback in a supportive way. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, taking their time, and improving step by step.

At the end of the lesson, I quickly go over what we worked on and what we should focus on next.
