Lavinia Elias

Hello! My name is Lavinia, I'm Australian and I live in Berlin with my husband and our cats Coraline and Olympia. I love teaching, exchanging ideas, learning about different cultures and meeting new people. I speak English, Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. I have a diploma of English Proficiency Advanced Level and a double diploma in Tourism and Hotel Management from Holmes Colleges / James Cook University of Australia. I have 20+ years of experience as an ESL teacher, having worked both at a language school and as a private tutor. I teach all levels from elementary to advanced.

My lessons are planned and tailored according to each student's individual level, interests and goals. I teach children aged 8 to 12 years, provide after-school classes for teenagers aged 13 to 19 and dynamic adult conversation classes, job interview preparation and coaching, as well as preparatory courses for several internationally recognised certificates, such as FCE, PET Cambridge, SAT, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC and GMAT.
