Native Swahili Tutor- Online Lessons for All Levels

I'm a native Swahili Speaker from Kenya with a strong passion for the language and culture. I've been teaching Swahili Online for the past 5 years, and teaches in person for the last 13 years. I help students from all over the world improve their Swahili for travel, work, studies, or personal enrichment.

I hold a degree in B.Ed. Arts (Swahili and History) and a Masters in Educational Psychology. I have received positive feedback for my ability to create engaging, learner- friendly lessons that are customized to suit each student's abilities and goals. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your conversational skills, I design lessons that are interactive, practical and enjoyable.

My teaching style is flexible, student - centered and focused on real-life communication. I use a combination of conversation practice, grammar guidance, cultural context and vocabulary-building exercises. I also integrate songs, stories, Swahili proverbs, and local expressions to make the lesson richer and more meaningful.

Over time, I've worked with students from different backgrounds- from young children and teens to adult professionals- and I understand how to adapt my methods to match different learning styles. Many of my students appreciate that I'm patient, encouraging and quick to explain things in simple, relatable ways.

In addition to formal lessons, I also offer support with homework, exam prep, and even business or travel- specific Swahili. My goal is to always build your confidence and help you use Swahili naturally and accurately in real situations.
