I bring around ten years of experience teaching in English, alongside private tutoring in both English and Afrikaans in South Africa. My experience spans individual language lessons, additional tuition for Grade 12 students preparing for their final school examinations, and academic English tutoring at the University of Cape Town.

As an academic English tutor, I supported students making the transition from school to university, helping them understand the language and expectations of university study and develop their academic writing.

I hold an honours degree in Media Theory and Practice from the University of Cape Town and am currently completing a master’s degree at Constructor University in Bremen. I also work as a teaching assistant with the university’s Career Services Center, supporting students with professional writing, CVs and cover letters.

My particular strength is bridging the gap between what someone wants to say and how to express it effectively in English. Whether you are developing conversational fluency, strengthening grammar, refining an essay or preparing professional communication, our lessons will focus on your specific needs.
