My method is aggressive: speak, write, produce language constantly. Ask questions, try to express yourself however you can. I believe grammar is essential to get you started, once it clicks and you see the patterns life becomes much easier. As a "multi-lingualist", this is the approach I apply in my own learning.
I bring different materials to the lesson in order to keep it lively and in motion, not giving you time to relent or slow down.
Finally, after a speaking session, you will get feedback, when you see your mistakes is when you have the chance to learn and stop them from happening again.
