My lessons are designed around one core belief: every child can learn English — they just need the right environment, the right approach, and someone who truly understands them.
With experience teaching children from ages 2 to 19, spanning Primary 1 through 6 in both classroom and private home settings, I have developed a teaching style that is flexible, child-centred, and results-driven. No two children learn the same way, and my background in Psychology gives me a genuine edge in identifying each child's unique learning triggers, whether that's visual aids, storytelling, repetition, play-based learning, or one-on-one conversation practice.
My lessons typically cover oral communication, reading comprehension, vocabulary building, grammar, and written expression, structured progressively so the child builds confidence at every stage. For younger children ages 2 to 6, I use songs, pictures, and interactive games to make English feel fun and natural. For older students, I focus more on structured writing, essay formation, and fluent speech.
One of my proudest achievements has been working with children who arrived with zero ability to speak or understand English. Through patient, consistent, and emotionally intelligent teaching, many of these children went on to communicate fluently in both speech and writing. I attribute this to understanding the psychological barriers that block learning, such as fear, low confidence, or past negative experiences with the language.
I bring patience, warmth, and genuine dedication to every session. My goal is not just to teach English but to make every child feel capable, heard, and excited to learn.
