Hello! I’m Jahanara, a Mathematics graduate currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Industrial Mathematics at TU Dortmund University. I have almost 6 years of teaching experience as a Mathematics Teacher at Jamalpur Raj Mohan Bidyapeeth in Bangladesh, where I taught students from grades 6–10. In addition to classroom teaching, I have experience with personal tutoring, supporting students individually according to their specific needs and learning pace.
My expertise includes school-level Mathematics, algebra, geometry, arithmetic, functions, problem-solving, and exam preparation. I focus on helping students understand the logic behind mathematical concepts rather than simply memorizing formulas.
My teaching method is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I first identify what the student finds difficult and then explain the topic step by step using simple explanations, examples, and practice problems. I never give up on a student—if one explanation does not work, I try a different approach until the student understands the concept. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and learn from their mistakes.
My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to build a strong mathematical foundation, reduce fear of Mathematics, and help students become confident and independent problem-solvers.
