TEACHING STYLE
My approach to teaching English is centered around making learning enjoyable and meaningful. I focus on moving away from the typical “cookie cutter” classroom style and instead create lessons that feel interactive, engaging, and fun for kids. I believe that when students enjoy the process, they stay motivated and learn more effectively.
As learners grow older, I gradually shift the lessons to be more structured and practical, helping them apply English in real-world ways. This balance allows younger students to build confidence through creativity and play, while older students develop the skills they need to use the language seriously and effectively.
EXAMPLE
An example of a lesson I have planned in Romania is called "adventure quest." This lesson is geared towards 8-10 year olds but could be tweaked to fit an older group. The activity consists of a map and clue cards (all in english) and certain challenges at each location, incorporating finding real world objects that are a certain color etc. An example of a lesson I could do remotely would be Bingo, Create a bingo card and using the background room the student is in, they find 10 things to write on their bingo card. I will say them and they check them off as a bingo game.
