also an LMS Learning Materials Developer. A dedicated and experienced educator with over 20 years of experience in English language instruction, creative arts, and holistic education. TESOL-certified and holding an Advanced Certificate in Post-Compulsory Education. Proven expertise in delivering engaging curricula across KS3 & KS4, online tutoring platforms, and specialised programmes for diverse learning needs. Combines pedagogical skill with a passion for student-centred learning and development.
Teacher Homa started as a youth worker in Arts collaborating in International Youth Festivals including in Tortona Italy as a Youth Arts Youth Work. She also has experience in journalism and content production for Art and Fashion.
She then later became a Textiles and Art History teacher after studying at the London College of Fashion. After 10 years in this subject she transitioned into more specialist work within Humanities and Technology.
Teacher Homa moved from the UK to Portugal, here her daughter is studying at one of the universities known to have inspired the Harry Potter movies.
Teacher Homa has worked on and developed homeschool programs, and is interesting in community learning and forest schools, and was recently featured for her work in the international online homeschoolers conference.
Teacher Homa is an avid gardener and loves animals, has 3 dogs and loves Harry Potter. She also runs a Harry Potter online reading group for young fans, has a storytelling channel and makes and sells resources and books for teachers and online learners.
She is a patient teacher with over 20 years of experience. She is qualified with an ESL and British Teaching qualification, and is experienced in curriculum writing, development and assessment, and has taught learners across all ages in the UK, online and Internationally.
She is a Native UK English speaker with a clear accent from London and the South East of England.
Teacher Homa is also involved in developing resources and interactive learning for ESL learners on various international platforms.
