Our first lesson together will focus on getting to know each other and understanding your goals. Before we dive into the lessons themselves, I want to learn a little about how you like to study and what makes you feel most engaged. Do you prefer structured exercises, roleplaying through scenarios, or simply having a relaxed conversation? Everyone learns differently, and I’ll shape our lessons around the approach that works best for you.
If your focus is on professional or business English, we can create lessons around real-life situations you encounter at work. For example, we might practice how to navigate meetings, write and respond to emails, or prepare for presentations so that you feel both polished and confident. On the other hand, if your goals are more social or casual, we can explore everyday conversations, cultural topics, and even playful activities like boardgames, word games, or discussions about movies and pop culture. These lighter approaches can make learning feel more natural and enjoyable while still building your confidence.
All lessons will be held virtually in the evenings, giving you the flexibility to learn in a comfortable space. I encourage you to bring your favourite drink to our sessions, whether that’s tea, coffee, or something else, to help you relax and ease into the lesson.
My overall goal is simple: to help you become comfortable, confident, and ready to use English in the moments that matter most to you.
