My lessons are learner-centred, structured, and designed to build confidence through clear, achievable objectives. As I mentioned in my application, “I am passionate about improving the lives of learners through English education” and this guides the way I plan and deliver every lesson. My Level 5 TEFL Diploma from The TEFL Academy equipped me with a strong foundation in methodologies such as PPP (Presentation–Practice–Production), Task-Based Learning, and Communicative Language Teaching, all of which I use to create engaging, meaningful learning experiences.

I begin by eliciting what students already know, introducing new language in context, and modelling accurate pronunciation. From there, I guide learners through controlled practice activities drills, gap-fills, substitution exercises before moving into freer tasks such as role-plays, discussions, and problem-solving activities. These methods ensure students not only understand the target language but can use it confidently in real-life situations.

My lessons incorporate visual aids, stories, games, and short videos to support different learning styles. For young learners, I use songs, movement, flashcards, and simple dialogues. For older learners, I focus on practical topics such as daily routines, travel, work, and social communication. I consistently use CCQs and ICQs to check understanding and maintain clarity.

My teaching experience includes creating educational YouTube content for young learners, supporting non-English speakers with assignments, and coaching interns in my previous accounting role. These experiences strengthened my communication, presentation, and instructional skills qualities that directly benefit my students. Overall, my lessons are structured, supportive, and interactive, with the goal of helping every learner progress confidently and enjoy the process of learning English.
