I learned English as a second language myself, I know exactly where students struggle — whether it's grammar rules that don't feel intuitive, building confidence to speak without overthinking, or finding the right words in professional situations. In my lessons I focus on real, practical English rather than textbook exercises that feel disconnected from everyday life. I tend to use a mix of conversation practice, error correction without interrupting the flow, and real-world examples like emails, news articles, or work scenarios depending on what the student needs. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach — I usually start by understanding what the student's actual goal is, whether that's passing an exam, getting a job, or just feeling more confident speaking, and then I build the lessons around that. I'm also currently learning German myself, so I genuinely understand the frustration and the progress that comes with language learning — and I think that makes me a more patient and relatable teacher.
