If I were to describe my teaching style, it is deeply rooted in my passion for child-led learning and my specialization in the Reggio Emilia philosophy. Having spent 7 years in the academe nurturing diverse international students in Bahrain, I’ve learned that young children thrive when their environment stirs their curiosity.
As an educator, my core skills are centered around creative engagement. I use my near-native English fluency to build a rich language environment, and I specialize in creating interactive, game-based activities that make complex foundational subjects feel like play. I love setting up collaborative spaces that spark imagination, allowing children to express themselves in multiple ways. For me, teaching isn't about lecturing—it's about being an inspiring co-explorer and guide who documents and maximizes each child's natural abilities and skills.
When children are placed in a nurturing environment filled with interactive lessons, their walls come down and their natural curiosity takes over. Joyful learning isn’t just about entertainment; it is the absolute catalyst for deep comprehension. When young learners are happy, engaged, and actively participating through purposeful games and hands-on activities, their brains become remarkably receptive to new information. They stop viewing education as a chore and begin experiencing it as an exciting discovery. I have consistently seen that a child who feels safe, valued, and emotionally secure is far more willing to take creative risks and explore complex concepts. By blending the child-led principles of the Reggio Emilia approach with a lively, encouraging atmosphere, we spark their imagination. Ultimately, happiness in the classroom bridges the gap between simple memorization and true, lasting understanding, helping them reach their full potential.
