For me, teaching isn’t about pouring information into someone’s head — it’s about sparking curiosity and giving students the tools to explore for themselves. I like to think of each lesson as a conversation rather than a lecture: we build ideas together, test them out, and see where they lead. The goal isn’t just to “know” something, but to actually connect with it and use it in meaningful ways. Expect movement, questions, laughter, and the occasional “aha!” moment. I encourage mistakes because they’re proof that you’re stretching your brain. Every session is tailored to the student sitting in front of me — no cookie-cutter lessons. I want students to walk away not only with knowledge, but with confidence, energy, and maybe even a new way of seeing the subject.
Every lesson has a clear goal, but how we get there depends on the student. Sometimes it’s through a story or real-life example, sometimes through a practical exercise, and sometimes through a challenge that pushes them just a little out of their comfort zone. I believe variety is key — a mix of structured practice, creative thinking, and active discussion keeps the brain engaged and the subject matter alive.
