My name is Isabel, and I’m an English teacher and tutor who loves helping students feel confident speaking English in real life, not just on paper.
A little bit about me, I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I’ve had the chance to travel the world and live in different countries, which has taught me a lot about language, culture, and communication. That’s also a big reason why I teach the way I. I don’t just teach English, I teach how to use English in real situations. I’ve been teaching English for several years now, in bilingual schools, private academies, and online. I’ve worked with kids, teens, and adults.
My lessons are not about memorizing grammar rules or filling in worksheets. I believe that the best way to learn a language is by using it. So in my classes, we speak first , even if it’s not perfect, and then we fix the grammar afterwards, like polishing a diamond. That way, you learn naturally, the same way you learned your first language.
I also teach vocabulary in phrases, not just single words, because that’s how people actually speak. And I always bring real-life topics into the class , music, travel, conversations, opinions, daily life situations, so English feels useful and alive, not like a textbook subject.
My goal is not perfection. My goal is communication. I want you to feel comfortable expressing yourself, asking questions, sharing ideas, joining conversations, and not feeling shy or afraid of making mistakes, because mistakes are normal. What matters is being able to understand and be understood.
