My knowledge and experience in teaching come from both classroom instruction and intercultural education. At the American Life Language Institute, I taught English to students at different CEFR levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and across a wide range of age groups. I prepared lesson plans, developed learning materials, and adapted my methods to match various learning styles and goals. The focus was often on conversational English and professional communication.
As a teaching intern, I supported student progress through individual guidance, group activities, and continuous feedback. This experience helped me understand how to motivate learners and respond to their specific needs.Beyond my formal teaching roles, I gained valuable experience through international exchange and volunteer work.
Representing Turkey as a youth ambassador in the United States and later coordinating intercultural events with Erasmus Student Network gave me the ability to create inclusive learning environments where students feel supported and engaged. These experiences strengthened my skills in communication, curriculum design, and classroom management, and they allow me to create lessons that connect language learning with real-world situations.
