Fluent, Confident English – Online Lessons for International Students

I am Hirwa Joab and 23years old, I’ve been teaching English online for the past two years, mainly to international students from a variety of backgrounds. My lessons are personalized and goal-focused—whether a student wants to improve their speaking skills, academic writing, grammar, or prepare for tests like TOEFL or IELTS. I believe in making lessons interactive and practical, so I use real-world materials like articles, short videos, and conversations, along with digital tools like shared documents. Even in a virtual classroom, I aim to create a relaxed, supportive environment where students feel safe to speak, make mistakes, and learn with confidence. I adapt to each learner’s pace and style, give regular feedback, and always encourage active participation. My background studying in English has helped me understand the language deeply, and my experience working with international students gives me insight into their unique challenges. My goal is not just to teach English, but to help students use it effectively in real life—whether in class, at work, or in daily conversation.
