My classes are based on interactive dynamics since I believe that the more the learner is involved in the learning process, the more s(he) will obtain. Language is a skill and any skill requires getting involved in modifying knowledge through practice. Therefore, I take advantage of teaching material that encourages the learner to use the obtained linguistic knowledge in a real-life-like situation.
in order to harmonize the sessions in a goal-directed manner, I benefit from suitable learner-based course books. At the same time, links to online exercises are part of my class to help the learners to enjoy practicing the intended syntactic and semantic data in varied contexts. Meanwhile, I profit from precisely-selected topic-related videos to tap more audiovisual facets of the language which in turn reinforces recalling the intended grammar and vocabulary by a focus on the context of use. This inspires communication as well.
Receiving cognitive and affective feedback is of course a priority in my classes. I always check if the learners feel comfortable in the learning environment and if their minds and brain are focused on learning free of any stressful situation.
I provide my students with conditions to realize their own strengths and weaknesses and evaluate their own progress continuously. Through feedback-driven tasks, I usually take advantage of each individual learner's strong points to improve their weaknesses and help them feel more confident by solving the problem that they are confronting in their learning experience.
Linguistic intelligence and individual differences are of top priority in my classes. As a result, learners can enjoy varied types of tasks to practice all language skills.
