Freelance English Instructor, Zoom Lessons

I passed Cambridge CELTA and an online advanced diploma in Counselling and Psychology in 2020. My IELTS score is 8 (C1). I’ve been working as a freelance English Instructor at Berlitz Egypt since October 2020. I teach English to children (age group 8 – 11) on ZOOM. I’ve been the Library Assistant and Administrator (secondary library) at Cairo English School (CES International School, ESOL Education) from 2017 till August 2023. I’ve been working also a freelance translator (Subtitling) since 2008 (Masreya Media and Anis Ebeid)
I work closely with children, preteens, and teenagers on daily basis. As an English Instructor, I teach interactive and engaging lessons that are student-centered. I use eliciting, visuals, and games to make the lessons more interesting. One thing I am most proud of is the rapport I have with my students. It is always a privilege when students respect you and confide in you. I always tell my students that learning is a dynamic process; they learn from me as much as I learn from them as well. Because of my former librarian job, I worked closely with teachers, management, and parents to ensure that the students’ needs are met. In the CELTA course, I taught adults as well as a part of the training.

I am currently based in Cairo, Egypt. However, I plan on moving to Germany if I am given the job, and I am willing to go through any necessary procedures to obtain my working visa. I already have a valid Schengen visa till August 2025.
