My English lessons are interactive, personalized, and focused on the individual needs and goals of each student. I strongly believe in a student-centered approach, where learners are encouraged to actively participate and engage with the language rather than passively receive information. In terms of structure, I usually start my lessons with a short warm-up activity to activate prior knowledge or review the previous lesson. Then, depending on the student's goals (e.g., speaking fluency, academic writing, grammar improvement, or exam preparation), we dive into the main topic using authentic materials, structured exercises, and communicative activities. For example, I often incorporate real-life texts, short videos, academic articles, or podcasts to build vocabulary and improve comprehension. Grammar is taught in context, and I make sure students understand how to apply what they've learned in practical situations. I also include regular speaking practice through discussions, role-plays, and debates to help learners build confidence. Having completed a C1-level English course at a language school in Turkey and with years of teaching experience, I am confident in my ability to guide learners effectively. Currently, I am applying for a Master's program in Cardiovascular Science at the University Medical Center Göttingen, which reflects my continued commitment in academic environments and international communication. My ultimate goal as a teacher is to help students feel confident, motivated, and empowered to use English in real-world and academic contexts.
