English Tutor who is invested in students' effective and appropriate use of language.

I am Oluwatamilore, a 29-year-old, who has an educational background in English, literature and professional communication. I have also taught the use of English for almost a decade at the secondary and tertiary levels. The major challenges in teaching English language are often "the rules", which give students the impression that they are wasting their time on unnecessary jargon. Thus, in my lessons, I always strive to show the connection between the rules and use of English (writing and speaking) through practical and interesting illustrations. In addition, my syllabus is tailored to the specific weaknesses of student, but also reinforces the aspects they are already familiar with. My ultimate goal is to help each student actually use English effectively.
