I structure lessons around clear goals, active practice, and regular feedback. Each lesson begins with a quick warm-up (5–10 minutes) to review previous material and activate prior knowledge. Next I introduce or review the target topic with a short explanation and examples (10–15 minutes), adjusting language and pace for the student’s level. The main portion (20–30 minutes) focuses on guided practice: worked examples with me, followed by independent exercises tailored to the student’s needs (skills, exam prep, or fluency). I finish with a focused review (5–10 minutes), immediate feedback, and 1–2 clear, achievable homework tasks to reinforce learning. I also set short-term goals and track progress, sharing updates with students/parents and adapting future lessons based on assessment and learner progress.
