Over the past five years, I have designed and guided the learning process of numerous students across various age groups. I have specialized in teaching everyone from young children to doctoral candidates.
My background in education began long before my formal academic training. From an early age, I started learning English on my own, testing different strategies firsthand to discover the most effective ways to acquire a language. During my university years, I studied different pedagogical methods, such as the Natural Approach and neurolinguistics.
My teaching strategy consists of assessing the student's current proficiency level and individual needs to subsequently design a tailored learning plan. The methodology I employ prioritizes learning through exposure to meaningful content, alongside the natural acquisition of grammar and the conscious study of phonetics.
Example of my standard 60-minute lesson plan:
- 10 min - Authentic Input: Listening comprehension using video content tailored to the student’s interests.
- 15 min - Vocabulary & Phonetics: Introduction of target vocabulary, emphasizing phonetic patterns and active listening skills.
- 15 min - Grammar Focus: A level-appropriate grammar lesson aimed at natural language acquisition.
- 5 min - Speaking Strategies: Equipping the student with specific tools for effective communication.
- 15 min - Active Production: Conversational practice followed by personalized, constructive feedback.
