Ela Sharifi

Hello! My name is Ela, and languages and communication have been at the center of my work for many years.

I have over 8 years of experience teaching English, as well as a background in translation, writing, and communication. Over the years I’ve worked with students from different countries, age groups, and learning backgrounds, which has helped me develop a flexible and patient teaching style. Currently, in addition to private tutoring, I teach English extracurricular classes in elementary schools in Berlin, working with young learners and helping them build confidence in the language.

I enjoy working with people who want to improve their English step by step, whether they are students who need support with school subjects, adults who want to feel more confident speaking, or professionals who need clearer communication at work.

My academic background is in language and communication, and I later completed a Master’s degree in Strategic Digital Marketing, which also involved a lot of work with writing, international communication, and content creation in English. This combination helps me support students not only with grammar and vocabulary, but also with clear and natural communication.

Outside of teaching, I’m interested in culture, languages, and international communication, and I enjoy helping people feel more comfortable expressing themselves in English.

In my lessons, I try to create a friendly and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and improving at their own pace.
