With over 12 years of experience teaching English in diverse cultural landscapes like South Korea, Turkey, and England, I have developed a teaching style that is as adaptable as it is effective. Having worked extensively with both high school and university students, I understand that language learning is not just about memorizing vocabulary—it is about gaining the confidence to navigate the world.
I believe in a holistic teaching method. This means I look at the whole student: their goals, their interests, and their specific learning hurdles. My lessons go beyond the textbook. I integrate modern technology into every session, showing students how to leverage digital tools, AI-assisted research, and collaborative platforms to take ownership of their own learning. By teaching students how to use technology effectively, I empower them to continue improving long after our lesson ends.
My time in South Korea and Turkey has given me deep insight into the specific linguistic challenges faced by ESL learners. Whether we are tackling complex academic essays, preparing for university entrance exams, or practicing conversational fluency, I structure my lessons to be high-energy and interactive. I focus on creating a "safe-to-fail" environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, because that is where the real learning happens.
Every lesson is tailored. We might start with a tech-based warm-up, move into a deep dive of a specific grammatical or academic concept, and finish with a practical application task. My goal is for every student to leave our session feeling more capable, more tech-savvy, and one step closer to their academic dreams.
