My name is Marco. I am 40 years old. I am Tefl teacher. I have a BA Degree and a passion to teach English. My lessons are structured to keep the students interested and love English. The lessons are made so the student can see English is relevant to their daily lives and the topic is interesting. We have many practice activities and discussions on a topic. 1. We start the lessons with a warmer. The lesson is to create a communicative atmosphere. This is a fun task that is related to the topic. We want the students to be relaxed as possible. 2. We use visuals to bring the real world into the class room. This would be pictures and objects to the class. This is to lead-in to topics so the students can get chatting. 3. This is where we get the students to think critically. Students will have to elicit. These strategies help make lessons more interactive and student-focused. By asking questions and letting students share ideas, we get them thinking and talking more. It's about guiding them to discover and learn, rather than just telling them info. 4. This is where students get to communicate with other students. 😊 So, it's about mixing things up to keep students engaged and communicating with each other. By changing how they interact – like moving around, working in different groups, or mingling – we create opportunities for them to practice speaking and listening in different contexts. It's like creating a dynamic environment where they're not stuck with the same people or format, making communication more natural and fun.
