Hello hello!

As someone who studied English for 12 years in school and who's always been very attracted to the Arts, I grew a lot of my English knowledge through music, cinema, art projects and writing.
I'd rather clock-in with you as someone you can simply talk to. A friendly approach that starts with you bringing your topics (music, piece of literature, etc) and presence.
I speak 5 languages, on different levels, from native Portuguese - fluent English - fairly good Spanish, intermediate French and (for now) basic German, since I've been living in Berlin for around 2 years.

I believe that languages enhance our empathy and availability. That's why I'd like our lessons to feel like a simple get-together, at home, online or simply at a café, we can get together and figure it out. I believe in order to get more and more comfortable, the conversational method is the way to go. It allows environment building and getting acquainted with someone else. Connection builds comprehension and with that and tapping into our subjects, topics and interests in a way that might feel more natural and relaxed. If the goal is to get better and more used to communicating in English you can trust that this will work!

I've always been comfortable with English but, since moving to Berlin and using it on the daily, I feel I've improved and became better in all spheres: I met more people and heard more stories, I got better at communicating with colleagues in a work environment and, as everything changed, so did my ability to watch content, in its original language, recurring less and less to subtitles.
