David Seri

I was born in Budapest, Hungary, and when I was 10, my family moved to the United States, where I spent the next 30 years before relocating back to where it all began. It was in the East Coast American cities of Boston and Philadelphia that I learned and perfected my English. This makes my background unique since I speak both Hungarian and English at a native level.

I hold a BA in Economics from Villanova University in Philadelphia, an MSc in Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest, and an MBA in Financial Management from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. I have over 15 years of U.S. corporate work experience in fixed-income valuation, pricing strategy, pharmaceutical contract management, and marketing operations.

Over the past five years, I have taught English to over 50 students through effective, engaging, and interactive one-on-one individual lessons, with a special focus on achieving fluency through conversation. I am flexible when it comes to tailoring lessons and learning plans to each student individually in a supportive, friendly, and encouraging environment.

In my free time, I enjoy studying history, reading great literature, working on my tennis game, trying to improve at chess, following my favorite football club (Ferencváros), and planning my next adventure around Europe. Cheers.
