My lessons are interactive, personalised, and adapted to each student’s age, academic level, learning style, and individual goals. I focus on helping students genuinely understand Geography rather than simply memorising information. I use real-world examples, maps, diagrams, photographs, case studies, videos, data interpretation, and practical activities to make geographical concepts easier to understand, remember, and apply.

I have several years of experience teaching Geography to students across different age groups and educational levels, including IGCSE and A-Level, as well as experience in private tutoring and university-level student supervision. This has allowed me to work with students with different abilities, interests, and learning needs. I aim to identify each student’s strengths and areas for improvement and adjust the pace and structure of lessons accordingly.

Lessons can focus on regular homework support, school assignments, revision of challenging topics, improving geographical skills, catching up with missed material, or structured preparation for tests and examinations. For exam students, I place particular emphasis on understanding what questions are asking, using appropriate geographical terminology, interpreting maps, graphs and data, developing strong case-study knowledge, structuring written responses, and practising past-paper questions.

I also encourage students to ask questions, discuss ideas, and connect what they learn with environmental, social, and economic issues happening around them. Geography becomes much easier when students can see its connection to everyday life.

Above all, I aim to create a friendly and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and progressing at their own pace. My goal is not only to improve academic performance, but also to help students become more confident, independent learners and develop a genuine interest in the world around them.
