Teaching any language or subject necessitates continuous research and development on the part of the tutor, and this is my primary objective. I am committed to ensuring that the learning materials are tailored to the individual needs of each student. Recognizing that each person has a unique pace, learning style, and strengths and weaknesses, I will assess and address these factors on an ongoing basis, encouraging each student to progress according to their abilities.
In the realm of language instruction, specifically English, my lessons, whether for beginners or intermediate learners, will encompass all language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Following each topic, students will engage in assessments, and we will correct them together, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Drawing from my experiences teaching my nieces and nephews during their childhood, I have observed the effectiveness of integrating songs and visual aids into the learning process, making subjects more engaging and comprehensible. I intend to employ these methods to accommodate and engage students with varying attention spans.
Furthermore, I will promote frequent interactions among students, occasionally grouping them in pairs or small groups (with the permission of their parents or guardians) to enhance collaborative learning.
In summary, the content of my teaching materials is comprehensive, ensuring that each student attains the requisite knowledge for their respective levels. For instance, in beginner-level lessons, I will introduce the alphabet, its pronunciation, upper and lowercase letter forms, emphasizing differences and similarities. Students will also learn to construct two and three-letter words, spell and pronounce their names, as well as those of their parents and friends.
