Chethana

I am Chethana, currently a university student studying Master's in Data Science at the Philipps University of Marburg, Marburg. I did my Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science and Engineering. I stay in Gießen. I can tutor in the following subjects for primary school: English, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. I prefer to tutor children online as it would help me balance and also dedicate time for my university studies. But if on site teaching is preferred, then I can tutor in Gießen, Marburg or any surrounding locations. I can speak and tutor in English. I structure my lessons around each child’s individual learning style, pace, and goals. My main priority is to create a positive, supportive environment where students feel confident asking questions and actively participating. I believe children learn best when lessons are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to their needs. At the beginning of our lessons, I briefly review previous material to strengthen understanding and identify any areas that need extra attention. I then introduce new topics step by step using clear explanations, interactive activities, and age-appropriate examples. Throughout the lesson, I encourage students to think independently while providing guidance and support whenever needed. I also focus on building confidence, concentration, and problem-solving abilities, which are essential for long-term academic success. I believe every student has different abilities and learning speeds. My teaching approach is patient, organized, and encouraging. I adapt lessons to ensure that every student feels comfortable and motivated. Whether a child needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or simply gaining more confidence in school, I aim to make learning enjoyable and rewarding. Communication with parents is also important to me. I provide regular feedback on progress and work together with families to support the student’s development both academically and personally.
