My teaching is dynamic, student-centred, and built around real-life communication. I have one year of experience teaching English to students of different ages and backgrounds. While I’m familiar with traditional school structures, my favourite method is to create personalized lessons that reflect the student’s interests, goals, and learning style.

I like to use a mix of resources, such as movie clips, music, articles, and everyday situations, to make the content relevant and engaging. I believe students learn better when they’re emotionally connected to what they’re studying, so I often bring themes into class that are fun, meaningful, or useful in their daily lives. Grammar and vocabulary are always included, but taught in a natural and practical way through conversation and examples.

In class, I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and practicing as much as possible. My goal is to build confidence and fluency, not just memorization. I offer a free introductory session to learn about the students' goals and levels, and then build a custom plan to help them progress step by step.

Having lived in Canada for over a decade, I bring a real-world perspective on the language and love helping others feel empowered to use English in their own lives.
