Hello! My name is Ramond and I am an English and Portuguese native speaker as well as teacher. I've been a pedagogical coordinator, Cambridge examiner and teacher's trainer- I bring all of it to the classes so I can prepare my students for any goals they may have! My academic background includes a degree in History, a postgraduate specialisation in English teaching, and a 220-hour TEFL/TESOL certification (including modules in Business English and Young Learners). I also spent two years living and studying in the UK, which enriched my linguistic and cultural fluency.

I have 16 years of experience as a teacher. Throughout my career, I have taught students of all ages and proficiency levels, from beginners to C2 learners, including those preparing for exams such as Cambridge (FCE, CAE, CPE), IELTS, and TOEFL. My roles at institutions like Fluentbe, Rockfeller Language Centre, and CNA International School have allowed me to refine my teaching methods while also leading pedagogical teams, developing course content, and mentoring teachers.

In my classes, students can expect lots of interaction because I teach using the ESA method, which is a student-centred teaching method that focuses on communication in order to help students apply their learning in real-life situations.

Outside of teaching, I love art! Cinema and music are my favorites. I also love Philosophy. In general,  I'm a very curious guy who is always learning and teaching.
