I bring over a decade of experience supporting learners in multiple educational settings. At Xavier School for Early Childhood Learning (2008–2012), I assisted instruction in Math, Reading, Science, Art, and early literacy. I collaborated with the Children’s Literacy Initiative to strengthen foundational reading skills and designed a project-based learning unit that increased student engagement and improved reading and writing assessment scores by 15%.
From 2022–2025, I supported the Xavier School Online Tutoring Program, where I introduced interactive technology strategies that boosted class participation and contributed to a 20% improvement in reading and writing test performance.
In my earliest tenure in Education I also served as a Science Laboratory Assistant Coordinator for the School District of Philadelphia, preparing materials for biology, chemistry, and physics lessons, maintaining safety standards, and tutoring students in Reading and Science. These roles strengthened my ability to guide learners, maintain structure, and adapt instruction to different needs.
Teaching expertise:
Business English, workplace communication, academic English, reading comprehension, science-related vocabulary, financial-industry communication, structured lesson planning, and learner support.
Teaching methods:
I combine TESOL methodology with practical, hands-on experience. My lessons use Communicative Language Teaching (real conversations and tasks), ESA (Engage–Study–Activate) — structured lesson flow that builds confidence and real-world useTask-Based Learning (interviews, presentations, workplace scenarios), scaffolding (step-by-step support), differentiated instruction, active learning, and clear feedback loops. My goal is to help learners speak clearly, think confidently, and use English with purpose.
I create a supportive learning environment where adults feel comfortable practicing, asking questions, and building real communication skills.
