I am a trained actor with a strong background in English theatre. I have performed in plays and have also written plays in English. Additionally, I regularly write content in English, which keeps my language skills active and refined.
After moving to Germany, I worked for two years as part of the Bundesfreiwilligendienst program. Due to the positive feedback and appreciation of my work, I was offered a full-time position to continue in the same role. From 2018 until mid-2020 in Salzgitter, I worked with children and young people, supporting them in learning English.
In this role, I visited different families and groups of students and conducted English sessions. Since many of them were already under pressure from school, I developed alternative and creative methods to make learning more engaging and less stressful. While I ensured that the core aspects of language learning-reading, listening, and writing-remained central, I introduced fiction, storytelling, imagination, art, and play to make the learning environment more accessible and enjoyable.
I created a framework in which students could enter the imaginative world of a story, engage with characters, and explore language in a more natural and meaningful way. Through this process, they gradually became more confident in English, as they were consistently reading aloud, listening, and writing without feeling pressured. This approach helped build a strong and sustainable foundation in the language over time.
I hold a Master’s degree in Media Sciences and Expressive Arts Therapy, which has strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, engage with individuals and groups, and support expressive and creative learning processes. I am experienced in fostering communication, encouraging self-expression, and using artistic methods to support language development.
I am a socially engaged and approachable person, and I find it easy to connect with students. In my previous experience, students looked forward to our sessions, as they felt relaxed, engaged, and energized. I also observed a therapeutic effect in these sessions, where students felt more confident and open after participating.
Overall, I believe this position aligns very well with my skills and experience. I am confident in my ability to support students in learning English in a creative, engaging, and effective way. Having studied in an English-medi
