My name is Barkha and I have a PhD in Microbiology. I have been living and working in both Germany and India for over 7 years, so I understand the challenges of learning English in an international environment.

How my lessons work:
Every lesson is 100% tailored to you. First we set clear goals together - whether it’s better grades, fluent speaking, job interviews, or exam prep like IELTS/TOEFL.

I use a mix of communicative and practical teaching methods. We don’t just do grammar drills. We learn through real conversations, role-plays, articles, videos, and writing tasks that match your interests and needs. I explain grammar clearly with examples, and then we practice it right away so you remember it.

For students, I help with homework, school presentations, and test preparation. For adults and professionals, we focus on business English, emails, presentations, and confident speaking in meetings.

My experience:
I have taught and mentored students and colleagues from many different countries during my research career. As a scientist, I am very good at breaking down complex topics into simple steps. I am patient, encouraging, and I adapt my pace to you. Mistakes are welcome in my class because that’s how we learn fastest.

My goal is that you leave every lesson feeling more confident and with tools you can use immediately. With my international background I can also help you with cultural differences in language for work and study abroad.
