My Method of Instruction
As a flexible, student-centered English tutor with a solid academic and international experience, I help students become more confident and fluent in everyday situations. Since each student is unique, I customise my sessions to meet their needs, whether they be speaking English fluently, interview preparation, academic writing, or everyday English.

The Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach is one of my main strategies. This means that we emphasise the practical use of English through role-plays, discussion, and real-world situations such as travel, employment, or education. This aids my kids in speaking English fluently and confidently as well as understanding it.

Additionally, I teach new grammar and vocabulary using the PPP approach (Presentation – Practice – Production). Prior to the learner using it in their own words or brief chats, I give a clear explanation of the subject (Presentation), after which we practice it together using easy activities (Practice). This framework aids students in efficiently comprehending and retaining new information.

Task-Based Learning, in which students complete real-world tasks like sending emails, making brief presentations, or reading and summarising news stories, is something I use to make lessons more interesting. This method improves their language while developing practical abilities.

I support providing constructive criticism that is kind. I make constructive corrections, emphasising support and development. My approach is to "Praise ? Correct ? Rephrase" in order to keep pupils engaged and help them get better over time.

Lastly, I help students learn by providing them with online resources like grammar websites, YouTube videos, and practice apps in between classes. Students can continue learning after class thanks to this integrated learning strategy.

In general, I want to establish a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere where students may learn and use English with assurance in everyday situations.
