Aya Omran

Hey, I’m Aya, and I’m 19 years old. I grew up in Dubai, where I was educated in English from a very young age. I continue to improve and expand my English skills by reading books and watching shows in English. I am also a university student, and all of my courses are taught in English.

I completed my FSJ (Voluntary Social Year) in a kindergarten, working with children aged three and older. Through this experience, I learned how to handle challenging situations with children while making lessons both engaging and informative. I support students in preparing for their English classes, explaining topics they may not fully understand at school. I also help students create and practice presentations, building their confidence so they can present in front of their classmates with ease.

It is very important to me that the young people I teach are learning effectively and that I actively support their development. Whether working with one student or a group, my goal is to motivate and support students and help them feel confident speaking English without fear of making mistakes. I encourage critical thinking, discussion, and active participation.

I focus on creating a positive learning environment that keeps students engaged and curious. I use a communicative teaching approach, helping students improve their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through real-life contexts. As I am fluent in German, I use it strategically to support comprehension while encouraging students to express themselves increasingly in English. Through language games, role-plays, and group activities, I make learning English both enjoyable and practical.
