Aya Abouelela

Hi! I’m Aya, and I hold a PhD in Physics from the University of Bonn, where I also completed my Master’s degree. Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. Throughout my academic career, I have taught and supported students in different areas of mathematics and physics, both at university level and through private tutoring. I also have previous experience teaching Maths and English to younger students. I currently offer tutoring in Mathematics and Physics for students of different ages and levels, including IB students. My goal is not simply to help students get the right answer, but to make difficult concepts feel logical and understandable. I like to break problems down step by step, adapt my explanations to each student, and create an atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions. With my background in theoretical physics, I especially enjoy helping students who feel that Maths or Physics is “too complicated” discover that, with the right explanation, it can actually make a lot of sense.
