As an engineer and computer scientist, I don’t just view math as a list of rules to memorize—I see it as the ultimate toolkit for building the world around us. My teaching style is rooted in the "Engineering Mindset," where we prioritize concepts first before ever picking up a calculator. I believe that if you understand the "why" behind a formula, the "how" becomes second nature. Instead of rote memorization, we dive into the logic of the problem, stripping away the intimidation of complex variables to find the elegant, simple structures underneath.

Because of my background in CS and tech, I am a firm believer in visualized learning. I know that for many students, a wall of text or a dry lecture is where interest goes to die. In our sessions, we’ll use sketches, flowcharts, and mental models to turn abstract numbers into tangible, visible ideas. Whether we’re "debugging" a calculus error like it’s a line of code or visualizing a geometric proof through a physical lens, I make sure the math comes alive off the page.

I’ve traded rigid lectures for high-energy sessions filled with "aha!" moments and plenty of "wait, that’s actually cool!" realizations. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative environment where questions are celebrated and "mistakes" are just data points on the path to a solution.
